The Community of Blairton, as you may already know, has been faced with a water termination notice.
The residents have been struggling to keep the private water supply on until a decision is made in Circuit Court.

To help offset the high legal fees in fighting for our right for water, we are conducting a Y2K Quilt project. Numerous quilters have come to our aid by supplying us with 'squishies' from their home state or country.
The residents of Blairton, West Virginia are constructing a Y2K Quilt from these 2 1/2" squares of fabric, 2000 total..
Pages have been added to this site with digital photos of the quilt construction.
We will also have a special page with the names of those who have donated to our cause.
